Cancelled - Shenfest 2020 Programme Announced

It is with regret that this has now been cancelled due to the rules in place concerning mass gatherings. Further announcements will be made about Shenfest 2021.

Dog Poo

This is an appeal to dog owners and dog walkers.

Following numerous reports and our own observations of dog mess which has been left on verges, pavements, footpaths and the airfield the Parish Council has requested that the Cherwell Dog Warden carries out random checks within the parish.

Dog owners who fail to pick up after their animal face an on-the-spot fine of £50 or, if the matter is dealt with by the courts, fines of up to £1,000 can be imposed.

There is a dog poo bin at the top of stocking lane opposite the school, please use it or take your dog poo home. Poo bags are now available which are not only biodegradable but are also flushable making the whole process much easier.
