Village Carol Service Choir

The rehearsal schedule for the Carol Service Choir is:

Wednesday 27 November at 8pm

Monday 2 December at 8pm

Monday 9 December at 8pm

Thursday 12 December at 8pm

These times may not be convenient for you all but don’t worry if you can’t make all the rehearsals. Music will be provided and you should be able to find the carols on Youtube so that you can practice at home!

Please encourage any friends or neighbours who may be interested to come and join us, it really is a case of the more, the merrier.

The service itself is on Friday 13th December

Wine Tasting Evening

The annual wine tasting evening will be held on Saturday 16th November in the Village Hall at 7.30 p.m.

Tickets are now on sale at £15 a head to include a 2 course supper.

Christmas Tea for the Over 60's

For those of you who are new to the village, the Village Hall Social Committee hosts a Christmas Tea in the Village Hall every year which is open to all residents over the age of 60 free of charge.

A tea of sandwiches, savouries and dessert is served and of course mulled wine and mince pies, accompanied by carols performed by the Shenington School Choir.

This year the Tea will be held on Friday 6th December at 3.15pm. and it would be lovely to see you.
